The mission of The Investing Minister is to help ministers and seminarians learn to invest successfully. If that sounds like you, you’re in the right place! Though tailored to ministers and seminarians, the information on this blog is still generally applicable to most everyone. So even if you’re not in either of those two categories, consider exploring and finding something helpful to you.
Here at The Investing Minister, my goal is to take you from knowing little or nothing at all about investing to investing successfully and managing your investments yourself. You can get there. It’s not as difficult as you think it might be, nor will it take as much time as you think it might.
This blog is designed to accomplish the task of educating you about investing to the point that you are investing soundly and managing those investments yourself. It does so through a series of accessible blog posts that begin all the way with the very basics and progressively advance from there.
My goal is for you to come away from each blog post feeling like you have learned something useful that you can apply to your own circumstances. If you find yourself reading a post that has information you’re already familiar with, feel free to move on to a different post. Also don’t be afraid to jump around a bit to different posts that interest you.
Now that you’re here, I recommend doing three things:
- Enter your name and email address in the form to subscribe to receiving new blog posts via email. (If you do not see the confirmation email in your inbox, please check your spam folder in case it was filtered there.) Be sure to add our email address to your “safe senders” list! Once you’re subscribed, you’ll receive a brief email every time a new post goes up. That way you’ll never miss a post!
- If you’re on social media, use the social media buttons on the page to find us on each respective social media platform. Likewise, if you use an RSS feed reader, you’ll find the button for the RSS feed as well.
- Start with the first post of the blog, and work your way forward from there to the present. If you find that the information being covered as you do so is too preliminary, fundamental, or rudimentary to any investing knowledge and experience you already possess, feel free to jump ahead or browse by category and find other posts that might interest you.
Again, welcome! I trust you’ll find useful information here, and I wish you the best on your investing journey!
Regards,
Matthew
